Venue Information
Getting to the Island is easy! The 10-minute ferry ride from downtown takes you to a tranquil community with an Island way of life. The 550-acre island park made up of several small islands makes for a unique race course and venue.
The islands used to be a vibrant community complete with 8,000 residents and a main street with businesses. A park since 1956, today there are 250 homes remaining, a few restaurants, a school, a fire and ambulance station and a haunted lighthouse.
The Mainland Ferry Terminal is a short ten minute walk from Union Station. Abundant user-pay parking can be found nearby.
The Toronto Ferry Dock is located at the foot of Bay Street and Queens Quay, just west of the Westin Harbour Castle. Participants will board the ferry to Hanlan's Point.
Ferry schedules will be posted soon.
Round trip ferry fees are included in the race registration fees.
